Sedona Arts Center Loving Bowls

I will be relocating my studio to Sedona at the end of October so I made a bunch of bowls for the Sedona Arts Center Loving Bowls event before I pack up my studio.  Over 1200 ceramic bowls and objects will be offered for $10.  Delicious chili and desert will be served.  All the proceeds go to
support the Sedona Community Center, Sedona Food Bank, Humane Society of Sedona and the Educational Programs at Sedona Arts Center.  It is on Saturday December 15, 2018 from Noon to 3 pm at the historic Art Barn in Sedona.

Sedona Inspired Red Clay Piece

While spending time in Sedona one of the many things I loved about Sedona was the striations of color in the red rock.  I wanted to find a red clay that had the warmth of the rock in Sedona.  This is a piece that came out of the kiln today that I am happy with. The clay is a lighter red that you will see in those striations.

Coastal Eddy Gallery "This Is Not Normal" Holiday Party in Laguna Beach

The Coastal Eddy Gallery in Laguna Beach, where I have a collection of my pieces, had their "This Is Not Normal" holiday party on Saturday.  Coastal Eddy is one of the few all ceramic galleries in the United States.
